ecoTAURuS – the EcoHubs Truck Appointment & Unit Status Service

INLECOM Systems ltd announces ecoTAURuS, the innovative e-transport solution for real time truck – terminal collaboration and planning of actions to speed up and optimise the loading and unloading process in multi-modal terminals. The new service has been designed and configured to be running on simple mobile phones, and has been supported via the European Research and Development project EcoHubs ( http://www.ecohubs.eu/ ) for the terminals of the future, in Transportation and Logistics. PARIS MOU - Annual Report

The Paris MoU has published its 2013 Annual Report, which states that a total number of 28 ships were refused access to Paris MoU ports during 2013, the highest number recorded since 2005. Although the Paris MoU anticipated that the number of banned ships would rise, an increase of 87% compared to last year was not expected. Most ships have been banned for multiple detentions (17), while a significant number (9) were banned for failing to call at an indicated repair yard.
UAE/DUBAI – Safe Cargo Operation during Port Stay

Ships calling at PCFC/DP World in the Emirates of Dubai are strictly required to comply with the requirements stipulated in SOLAS/LOADLINE/ISGOTT, IMO Codes for Safe Cargo Operation while the vessels are operating in Dubai Ports. As a minimum requirement, every vessel calling PCFC/DP World Ports in Dubai shall strictly comply with the following PCFC-EHS requirements:
