IBIA announces new Regional Board Chair – Americas

IBIA is pleased to announce that Frank Dahan, Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing and Global Fuel Strategy at CSL Group Inc., has been appointed by the IBIA Global Board as Chair of the Regional Board – Americas, effective immediately.

Frank brings more than 29 years of executive experience across the marine transportation, oil, and energy sectors. He leads CSL’s Strategic Sourcing function and Global Fuel Desk, overseeing the organisation’s largest spend category while driving major initiatives in cost optimisation, risk management, procurement digitisation, and marine-fuel strategy. Frank is also recognised for his leadership in the maritime energy transition, having overseen one of the sector’s largest B100 biofuel trials since 2019, work that has influenced ISO 8217:2024 and supported policy development within Transport Canada, the US Coast Guard and the IMO. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance with a minor in Economics from the John Molson School of Business.

Frank succeeds Adrian Tolson, who has completed his term as Regional Chair and continues to serve on the IBIA Global Board. We thank Adrian for his leadership and his ongoing contribution to the Association.

This transition reflects IBIA’s commitment to rotating leadership roles across our boards, ensuring broader participation and strong regional engagement.
